Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest branches of engineering and is called an ‘evergreen branch’ because of the steady demand of mechanical engineers from the industry. It caters to Automobiles, Railways, Aviation, Thermal Power Plants, Hydro Power Plants, Textile, Petroleum, Chemical, and a variety of other industries.
The department has well equipped laboratories.The department has a state of the art CAD lab having 60 high end computers with packages like Pro-E & Solid works.The department subscribes to a number of national and international journals.
