The Department of Mining and Mineral Processing was established in the Year 2020 with intake capacity of only 60 students. Due to the increasing demand for mining engineers from the coal and mineral industry. Presently the Department is offering B. Tech. in Mining and Mineral Processing. The Department is developing with state of the art modern instruments and equipments for conducting various laboratory work. The Department consists of highly qualified young and dynamic faculty members to provide an ambient teaching and learning environment for its students through smart classroom facility. The Department Head is Dr. Ram Chandra Chaurasia, who has good experience in the area of Mineral Processing. The course structure is as per RGPV, Bhopal and includes courses on emerging topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Mining and Mineral Processing to bridge the gap with the industry
